GOALS : STRENGTHENING LOCAL SELF GOVERNANCE AND ACCELERATING RURAL DEVELOPMENT

PAINS OR GAPS LACK OF INFORMATION OF FLAGSHIP PROGRAMMES GRAM SABHA IS NOT PROPERLY FUNCTIONING DUE TO LACK OF PEOPLES’ PARTICIPATION REPORTED LEAKAGES IN THE FUND FLOW AND UTILASATION NO SYSTEMATIC GRASSROOT LEVEL PLAN NO IEC PLAN AT GRASSROOT LEVEL NO CAPACITY BUILDING ON IEC ASSESSMENT ON IEC HAS BEEN DONE NO CONVERGENCE AND CO-ORDINATED ACTION AMONG THE LINE DEPTTs.

OBJECTIVES OF THE T & C STRATEGY PLAN TO INCREASE THE REACH & THE COVERAGE OF FLAGSHIP PROGRAMME THROUGH BETTER DISSEMINATION OF THE INFORMATION TO ENHANCE THE PEOPLE’S PARTICIPATION TO STRENGTHEN THE GRAM SABHA FOR PLANNING & IMPLEMENTATION TO REDEFINE THE ROLE OF THE TRAINING INSTITUTES ( NIRD, SIRDs & ETCs ) TO INITIATE AN INTEGRATED TRAINING & COMMUNICATION PROGRAMME TO EVOLVE THE PROCESS OR MECHANISNM FOR ACTIVE INVOLVEMENT OF ALL THE DEPARTMENTS & PARTNERS.
