Vol. 1 No. 6 Hall of Fame Edition Toby Harrah began his career with the Washington Senators in 1969 before the club moved to Texas. Texas Rangers Baseball Hall of Fame Ruben Sierra was named Rangers Player of the Year four times in five years.  An original Texas Ranger after playing three seasons with the Washington Senators, Toby Harrah made the 1972 American League All-Star Team and was named Rangers Player of the Year in 1975, batting.293 with 20 home runs and a career-high 93 RBI.  Shortstop Toby Harrah and outfielder Ruben Sierra will become the 11 th and 12 th members of the Texas Rangers Baseball Hall of Fame Saturday in an on-field ceremony prior to the game against the Seattle Mariners. After coming up as a shortstop, he moved to third base in 1977 before being traded to the Cleveland Indians.
