Only at special occasions, they would eat meat. Rich Ancient Egyptians usually ate meat (Which is usually cow and sheep), vegetables, water fowls, fruit and wine for food. Beer was made from barley and water. The Nile River has gave the Egyptians to make barley and the water was from the Nile River. Almost all of the food the Egyptians ate were from the Nile River.
