It also stops you for going on your computer/ laptop, it affects the internet. Viruses can increase their chances of spreading to other computers by infecting files on a network file system or a file system that is accessed by another computer.network file system How can you stop yourself getting virus. To stop your computer from getting viruses you can download anti-virus software. You need a good anti-virus, like Symantec Anti- viruses. Do not open any pop-ups as they could contain viruses. What harm can Viruses do? Computer viruses can do varying amounts of damage to your computer, ranging from rendering it wholly unusable to doing nothing at all. Viruses have many methods of damaging your computer, which have evolved over time along with computers themselves. hacking, spyware, computer worms, downloaded viruses things like that. etc. In short a lot. What can you do to murder them? You can use anti viruses software to shoot little bugs down with just one click.

What can hackers do? So, hackers, as popularly defined, are computer experts who spend enormous amounts of time trying to breach the security of networks, Web servers and servers. Usually they use a selection of specialist software to identify weaknesses. Hackers can get into your facebook accounts and any other accounts. They can get into your private information, and your private pictures. They will hack into every account you have, and cause viruses. Hackers like to subvert computer security without permission. They are cyber criminals. This can mean gaining access to a computer across the Internet for illicit purposes. They might engage in any of the following activities: Hacking is illegal and unwanted thing. And lets it self hack into other peoples account. Hacking is what causes viruses which does a lot of damage on people computers. Vandalism—Destruction or digital defacement of a computer or its data for destruction’s sake. Sometimes this is ego-driven. They break in and leave their mark to show they’ve been there. Theft—Gaining access to intellectual or proprietary technology or information,

Once hackers get into your computer they might copy files, delete files, snoop around for hidden passwords, or co-opt your PC and use it to launch attacks on commercial servers.

What is a backup?. Backup are files that are copies of other files that have on your computer in case something happens to the original ones. You can get backups by simply buying or downloading software that does it all for you or saving your files,data, work etc. In two different files. You can backup your work onto a storage device that is separate from the computer you are working on e.g.. Floppy disks, USB stick and CD’s
