Welcome Guaranteed Memories ® Form AIP002

Guaranteed Memories® Creating fond memories is a wonderful and lasting gift. Form AIP002

Guaranteed Memories® Do you remember receiving a birthday card and check from your grandparents? Remember how nice it felt? Form AIP002

Memories are a precious gift. Grandparents purchase Guaranteed Memories® so that, after their death, each of their grandchildren will receive a personalized birthday card and check every year until they are age 55. Form AIP002

The card that the grandchild receives is personalized. For example… Happy Birthday Mary With Love, Grandma and Grandpa Smith Form AIP002

Front Inside Sample Check Form AIP002

How it works Grandparent selects annual gift amount desired of $100, $250, $500 per grandchild. Grandparent purchases a Guaranteed Memories® whole life insurance policy from American National Insurance Company, One Moody Plaza, Galveston, Texas Form AIP002

How it works (continued) After death of the grandparent, the life insurance death benefit remains in an account earning interest at American National. An annual birthday card and check will be sent to each grandchild specified as a beneficiary. Form AIP002

How it works (continued) As each grandchild reaches age 55, they will receive a check and one last birthday card with their pro-rata share of the account value – just in time to pay college costs for their children, put money away for retirement, or maybe even pay a principle amount on the mortgage. A way to preserve those treasured memories for years to come. Form AIP002

About American National Insurance Company American National Insurance Company, Galveston, Texas has served policyholders for over 100 years. American National is responsible for sending the card and check to your grandchild every year on their birthday. Form AIP002

Cash Value This policy accumulates what is called ‘Cash Value.’ So, if you were to change your mind in the future and want to cancel your policy you would receive any cash value that has accumulated in the policy. Form AIP002

Frequently Asked Questions Guaranteed Memories ® Form AIP002

Can my policy ever be cancelled? No. Absolutely not. However, it can lapse if you do not pay premiums when due. Form AIP002

Can the annual premium ever increase? No. The annual premium will never increase. Form AIP002

Is a physical exam required? Not for amounts up to $49,999 to age 70 Not for amounts up to $25,000 from age Form AIP002

Is a physical exam required? For any amount between age 76-85, a paramedic exam will be required. Issuance of the policy may depend upon the answers to health questions set forth in the application Form AIP002

Can I add to the policy if I have more grandchildren in the future? You can apply for an additional insurance policy to include any grandchildren you may have in the future. The second policy may be subject to full underwriting. Form AIP002

What if I am not insurable? If you are not insurable, American National will consider an annuity contract. Form AIP002

Can American National keep track of my grandchild’s address over the years if they move or change their name after marrying? Yes. Insurance companies track addresses of beneficiaries and beneficiary name changes all the time in their regular course of business. However, the company should be notified of address changes. Form AIP002

What happens if I stop making premium payments? If you stop making premium payments (and don’t withdraw the cash value of the policy), the policy does have a feature called ‘paid-up insurance.’ Depending on the amount of ‘paid-up insurance’ that has accumulated, your grandchildren may still receive an annual gift, subject to the $ minimum, but the amount may be less than you had selected. Form AIP002

What happens if my grandchild were to die before me? If you have named more than one grandchild as a beneficiary, all surviving grandchildren will share equally, so if a grandchild were to die before you do, the other grandchildren’s annual gifts’ would increase proportionately. If you have named one grandchild as a beneficiary and that grandchild dies before you do, you may elect to name a new beneficiary. Form AIP002

Can the gift come from both the grandmother and grandfather? Yes. You can have the card come from both of you. However, only one of you will be insured. The gift will begin after the insured grandparent passes away. Form AIP002

How much does it cost? The cost of your policy depends on your age, smoking status, number of grandchildren, and annual gift you want to provide. Please complete and return the cost form and I will provide you the needed information. Form AIP002

Thank You for Listening. Form AIP002
