Clothing, Instruments, and Significance  Men and Women both wear “dressy” clothes Shoes with Suede Women wear dresses and men wear formal shirts and pants  The Bongos, Botjuela, Claves, Conga Drums, Cowbell, Guiro, Marimbula, Quijada, and Tibales, are all instruments used in Salsa  Salsa is a distillation of many Latin and Afro-Caribbean dances and has many different forms of the dance.

Key Vocabulary Words  Rhythm - movement marked by the regulated succession of strong and weak elements, or of opposite or different conditions  Salsa - is a very popular dance form in Latin America, the United States, and Europe.
