Bore machine at STA LT Open trench that is 2 feet wide by 3 feet deep Rock blasting from STA LT to STA LT Material storage will require 100 foot by 50 foot area from STA LT to STA LT. Storage area is from right-of-way to 5 feet inside slope intercept. Restoration will be completed within 2 days where work is finished 29
Example Wisconsin Public Servie (WPS) has a 4 inch gas main in conflict with the signal lights on Mason Street from STA LT to STA LT. WPS will relocate the gas main so that it is 5 feet from the right-of-way. The existing gas main will be discontinued in place. During construction, notify WPS as required by Trans (10) so this work will start work once the existing pavement is removed. This work will take 2 working days to complete as defined in Trans (20). 30
Example WPS will have a bore machine at STA LT and will bore to STA LT. WPS will open trench from STA LT to STA LT. The trench will be 2 feet wide by 3 feet deep. WPS anticipates rock blasting from STA LT to STA LT. 31
Example Material storage will require a 100 foot by 50 foot area from STA LT to STA LT. Storage area is from right-of-way to 5 feet inside slope intercept. Utilities. This contract comes under the provisions of Administrative Rule Trans ( ) When interpreting the term “working days” within the “Utilities” article of these special provisions (and only within this article), use the definition provided in Trans (20) of the Wisconsin Administrative Code rather then the definition provided in Section of the State of Wisconsin Standard Specifications for Highway and Structure Construction. 33
Wisconsin Public Service (WPS) has an under ground gas main along Mason Street from approximately STA LT to approximately STA LT During construction, WPS plans to relocate the gas main along Mason Street from approximately STA LT to approximately STA LT. The existing gas main will be discontinued in-place. WPS will store material in a 100 foot by 50 foot area from approximately STA LT to approximately STA LT. The storage area extends from the right-of-way to 5 feet inside of the slope intercept. 34
As required by Trans (10), notify Dan Druff of WPS at (920) so this work will start after the existing pavement is removed. WPS anticipates this work will take 2 working days to complete. 35
