It’s never too early to start planning for college. There are many things you should start to do now in order to get ready. There are lots of things to think about that will help you decide which college and major are the best fit for you.

9/23/2015 Do you know what classes you need to have taken in high school in order to apply to a MA state college? High School Diploma Requirements: 4 units of English 3 units of Mathematics (Algebra I, II, Geometry or other advanced course) 3 units of Science with 2 lab units 2 units of History or Social Studies 2 units of the same Foreign Language 2 college preparatory electives

Colleges look for various after school & extra curricular activities that help make you a well-rounded student! If you are not involved in middle school or high school, talk to your friends and join a club together! What are you involved in NOW that you’d like to continue in college?

Do you see yourself staying close to home after high school or moving away? At a state college like Bridgewater, you are charged in-state tuition if you are from Massachusetts. If you go to a state college outside of Massachusetts, you will be charged out-of-state tuition. Private universities have a set tuition no matter the location in comparison to where you live.
