All About the Bird Pennsylvania does NOT have a state bird, but they do have a state GAME bird. The ruffed grouse was adopted on June 22,1931.

The Flag Did you know, the state seal is on the flag? Also, have you ever known that the background is blue just like the flag of the U.S.? And on both sides of the flag is the Pennsylvania, Coat of Arms symbol.

Places to Go In Hershey, PA is a place called Chocolate World. At Chocolate World, you can go on a tour. When you are on this tour, you can see the whole process of making chocolate!

Hot Spots The Franklin Science Institute Museum has a really cool, new, and interesting exhibit called the Giant Heart. It is open 9:30am-5:00pm Sunday-Saturday. The museum is closed yearly on New Year’s Day,Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

Cool Facts Did you know, that the Declaration of Independence was signed in Philadelphia? Also, Pennsylvania was the 2 nd state admitted into the union. Pennsylvania invented the soft pretzel!
