Objetivos  Read an article on a specific Spanish speaking country and work in groups to present information about a country’s capital, climate, products and population to the class.  Compare and contrast the lifestyle in various Spanish speaking countries with our own in the United States.

Lee  Read the information you have been given on your country  As you read, mark your article with the following symbols: * = Main Idea ? = Confusing/Specific question about this section ! = Any interesting facts you find  You should identify at least three main ideas, three interesting facts, and any sections about which you have questions  Fill in any important facts that you can on your chart

Tarea  Create a travel brochure for one of the countries studied today.  Be sure to include information that would attract a tourist, as well as any critical information someone travelling to that country would need to know  Keep in mind: not all tourists are looking for 5 star hotels and beaches. Some are looking to study wildlife or volunteer.  You may use other sources to find additional information on the country you choose, but you MUST cite them (think mini bibliography) if you do.
