E-Government Experience in Uganda Interventions ICT Policy & ICT Master Plan to guide the development ICT in the in various sectors of development. (Agriculture, education, business etc) Review of Telecommunication Policy to promote more private investment in the ICT infrastructure and also introduce PPP specifically in development of the National ICT back bone

E-Government Experience in Uganda Interventions Rural Communication Development Project to promote ICTs in Rural areas were the majority of Ugandan people live (over 80%) E-Government and Inter-Ministerial Network (USTDA) Project to promote ICTs in Govt. the institution that handle the bulk of transactions for the citizens of Ugandans

E-Government Experience in Uganda Future Plans based on best practices Govt. Portal ( Utilities, Training, Financial Institutions etc) as one stop centre to avoid stand alone with inconsistent interfaces. Common procurement of systems, equipment and software to benefit from economy of scale.

E-Government Experience in Uganda Technical & Financial support will definitely be needed from our development partners (US, Canada, World bank etc) to realize our visions & future plans
