A type of madrigal in strophic form which was originally danced to. It features a fa-la-la refrain at the end of each verse. Ballett is from the Ballett is from the renaissance and baroque period. This period was in the 16 th century. It is slightly different to Italian trecento madrigal music which is from the 14 th century.
