Slide 2 In this section I learned about an eating disorder, Anorexia Nervosa. A lot of people have this disorder. There are a few symptoms on knowing if you have this eating order. What this section also talked about was getting treated for Anorexia Nervosa.

Slide 3 The main idea of my section is the Anorexia Nervosa symptoms.

 Anorexia Nervosa is a eating disorder that a person denies eating food to keep a thin body weight. Some signs on this eating disorder is having a slow heart rate, low body temperature, dry skin, and having a massive weight loss. Any one can have this eating disorder but it’s most common on teenage girls. The main reason for having this eating disorder is because the person can have low self esteem. Other reasons would be because the person wants to be

perfect or have a perfect physical appearance and also having a problem to please others around them. Anorexia Nervosa can be treated by the correct attention from mental – health professionals, family members, and the patient him/her self. It is important for the class to know about Anorexia Nervosa because it is mostly common in the teenage years.

 An example of Anorexia Nervosa is a young teenage girl who had an extreme loss of weight. At first, she didn’t know she was anorexic, The reason why is because it was just a habit not eating. After time went on, she started to realize dry skin, low body temperature, and also a slow heart rate. Once she noticed these symptoms, she went to the doctor and was told she had a eating disorder, Anorexia Nervosa. Later on she was treated by the help of a mental- health professional and her family.

 I think this eating disorder is real serious. The reason why is because many people can die because of this disorder. Once you have Anorexia Nervosa, It’s hard to get out of this problem but, you can get treated over the years.

Slide 7  This section was about Anorexia Nervosa. It is a eating disorder that makes a person have a massive weight loss and is hard to control through your own mind.
