 This is Dove’s mildest cleaning bar. It contains 1/4 th moisturizing cream and mild cleaner.

 This bar of soap is infused with a blend of Shea butter and vanilla. Like the white beauty bar, this soap has 1/4 th moisturizing cream along with the Shea butter.

 Beauty Bar:  Sodium Lauroyl Isethionate, Stearic Acid, Sodium Tallowate or Sodium Palmitate, Lauric Acid, Sodium Isethionate, Water, Sodium Stearate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Cocoate or Sodium Palm Kernelate, Fragrance, Sodium Chloride, Tetrasodium EDTA, Tetrasodium Etidronate, Titanium Dioxide  Shea Butter Beauty Bar  Sodium Lauroyl Isethionate, Stearic Acid, Sodium Tallowate or Sodium Palmitate, Lauric Acid, Sodium Isethionate, Water, Sodium Stearate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Cocoate or Sodium Palm Kernelate, Fragrance, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter) Oil, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Chloride, Tetrasodium EDTA, Tetrasodium Etidronate, Titanium Dioxide, Yellow 5, Yellow 6

 Both of the bars of soap contain the same minerals, mostly consisting of salt related minerals. Other minerals that appeared in the soap were many varieties of clay and pumice powder.

 Most sodium related minerals in soap are unnecessary detergents and will either dry up or leave a sticky or rough residue on the applied are of the skin. But Sodium Lauroyl Isethionate is actually considered dangerous in large quantities and oddly enough is can be harmful to you if absorbed through the skin.

 Many types of clay are also put into dove soap. These clays are put into the soap because they can bring up and absorb toxins that are in the pours of your skin. But, they also suck up all of the oils in your skin leaving it very dry and rough. These clays have not toxic or harmful attributes to them but don’t provide any benefits to the soap.

 Pumice powder only has one use in soap, to exfoliate the skin. This means that the pumice powder will get rid of the unwanted dead and dry skin cells which leaves the skin smooth and clean. Pumice powder has other uses also. Its abrasiveness makes is used in all sorts of polishes and sand papers. And due to its ability so scrub off anything, its used in toothpaste as well.

BEFOREAFTER

 Although this is not a mineral we decided to add it because of its beneficial properties. Propylene glycol keeps the Shea butter from separating from the soap mixture. Also prolonged contact will not cause irritation with the skin or the eye so it has no harmful aspects making this a good ingredient in soap.

 Again we decided to add this ingredient because this was one of two different ingredients from the white soap bar. Shea butter provides intensive skin healing and moisturization. Also, it helps heal cuts and scrapes without scarring. It also can protect your skin and hair from the suns harmful UV rays.

 In conclusion, we believe that the dove Shea butter with warm vanilla beauty bar provides a better clean with more moisturization and skin protection. The Shea butter soap bar also has more moisturizing ingredients so it will counter act the skin drying ingredients and provides more moisture to the skin.
