Did you know? …Sodas and monster drinks are just empty calories. …Sports drinks should only be used if you have been working out at least an hour.

Did you know? Sipping on a soda or other sugary drink can hurt your teeth!

Sodas and monster drinks are loaded with caffeine! Did you know?

How much sugar is in that soda? 1-20 ounce soda = teaspoons of sugar 1-12 ounce Monster drink = 13 teaspoons of sugar Some have even more!

What’s the least expensive, best drink? WATER! You need 8-10 cups of water each day. All parts of the body depend on water. Water carries nutrients to cells, flushes out toxins and keeps tissue moist.

Water! Water! Water! Does your school have easy access to water? Do your kids have a refillable water bottle? Are the school water fountains working?

Keep track of what you drink! How many sugary drinks are your kids drinking each day? How many glasses of milk? How much juice are your kids drinking? How much water?
