Presentation transcript:

A decision is a choice you make between 2 or more possibilities. We make decisions all the time. Even choosing not to make a decision is a decision. Decisions are a part of life; some are easier to make than others. Different people have different ways of making decisions. Small impulse decisions like whether to have vanilla or chocolate ice cream are trivial and won’t do any harm. Bigger decisions require thought and analysis.

Decisions are more than wishes or desires. Decisions are specific and lead to focused action. When we decide, we narrow down. We give up actions that don’t contribute to our decision.

The benefit of having long-term goals is that they provide a basis for many of our daily decisions. Being certain about what we want to accomplish this year and this month makes today’s choices clearer.

 How were decisions made in the movie clip?  Were they effective?  How could the decisions have been made differently?
