Juniors-Monday March 23 rd  The Quakers and Anabaptists believed strongly in the separation of church and state and fled from England and other countries to escape religious prosecution. Quakers believed that individuals had to wait for an inner light to become Christian and Anabaptist believed that adults had to choose to get baptized to become a Christian. Get into three groups of 5!  Rules: Roll the dice. Whichever two words you land on, you must come up with a sentence using both words. The person who rolls the dice has to be the judge of the sentence. Whoever gets the most points from each group (one person per group) gets bonus points on their quiz!

Juniors-Thursday March 26 th  What do you think the author’s purpose is? Is it to please an audience or fellow writers, or to instruct as a moralist? Seniors-Friday March 27 th  What are symbols within literature? Name some that you know of. For example, a dove represents peace. Along with allegory, note any symbols you have incurred within the poem.  Study for your quizzes!
