Why Are We Here? We are great at getting resources for patrons to and from libraries – what about getting OUR resources into the hands of OUR patrons! Document Delivery Service – what is it? What you SAY you are doing… Brief survey of current document delivery activities

Here’s what Oneonta is doing… WHAT – Delivery of items we locate personally, articles(faculty/staff) that are found in our databases or online, books we own(faculty only) EReserves as well. WHO – Faculty/Staff/Students with only off campus classes; (remote sites); Distance Learning students (via internet); Emeritus HOW – Items sent to another location for distribution to patron; electronically sent items to patron from our databases; items found on the web electronically sent to patron; notification that a book that we own has been pulled and placed on the Hold Shelf(faculty only); Eres documents are entered through Doc Del
