Operation: Navigate the Portal 1. Open internet explorer 2. Go to website 3. Click on the My Southeast tab 4. Enter southeast key and password

Check your Southeast 1. Follow steps Click Icon (located on upper right hand corner) -or-

Check your class schedule and class website 1. Follow steps 1-4 to login to your portal 2. Click on the My Courses tab 3. Course Listing should show. 4. Select course you desire by clicking web site link

Operation: Take Control of the Dropbox 1. Follow steps 1-4 to login into course 2. Select Dropbox in Course Menu 3. Select Dropbox 4. Click on Add File 5. Click on Browse and Select File 6. Click Upload Note: Make sure your document has the right extension.

Operation: Save a file 1. Using any office 2007 program first you will want to click on the office 2007 button located in the upper left hand corner of the program. 2. Select Save As and Select the type of document 3. Select the dropdown menu in the dialog box that comes up. 4. Select your flash drive. 5. Name the document and click save

Operation: Flash Drive Organization 1)Name folders by Semester 2)Create subfolders within Semesters by Class 3)For each Class Folder create 3 subfolders for Assignments, Notes, and Study Guides

Operation: Online Class Survival 1)Always bookmark your URL (cannot always rely on portal to access your class website) 2)When posting in forum, always copy & save your responses in a word document. 3)Make sure document is in appropriate form to upload in dropbox 4)When having issue with online testing, call CSTL (and instructor ASAP). 5)Do not use the scroll mouse while testing online. Always click in a blank area and use the arrows on the right of the screen to move down.
