What we want to achieve Short term:  increase income of economically active poor from 30 cents to one USD/day Long term:  increase income of 50% of economically active poor in Niassa  activities to continue indefinately through profit making

Pilot phase started in 2000 A number of projects under one bilateral agreement The programme is managed by a Joint Executive Committee, JEC (with 2 repr appointed by Sida and 2 by Niassa province) and one operations manager Budget 20 million SEK/year (3 m USD) Cooperation with about 10 organisations and investors Current Operation
