SHAY TRANSPORT LTD specializes in transport and storage of hazardous substances in the following fields: Industry, Chemistry, Electronics, “High tech”, pharmaceuticals, military and etc. 4
SHAY TRANSPORT LTD transports mostly hazardous substances in large varieties, such as: * Shipping containers, Tank containers- using trailers and full-trailers. *liquids and solids in Totes, IBC containers, sacks, pallets, boxes. * Gas cylinders, mound of cylinders. 5
The company owns a fleet of different categories loading trucks, trailers and full trailers. Some of the vehicles are equipped with hydraulic loading and unloading ramp. The company has an operation control center allowing us to follow any vehicle anytime and anywhere using the GPS system as well as PTT communication with the drivers. The company employs a Traffic Safety Officer and Head of Safety for hazardous materials transportation. 6
As a part of recruiting new drivers the company provides thorough training and extensive tutorial ( There’s an average of 4 professional trainings for the drivers including practical training in a car rink) SHAY TRANSPORT LTD sees in safety a high principle for its success and invests a vast sum of resources in advanced equipment and employee training. Our company has an emergency crew for both transport and storage. 7
SHAY TRANSPORT LTD has two storage sites for 1. “Na’aman Gate Park” in Acre – 250m 2 warehouse. 2. “ MILUMOR” site m 2 warehouse. 8
In 2012 the company was authorized buy the ministry of environment to become a Transfer Station for hazardous waste. In the transfer station the hazardous waste is sorted and routed to final destinations such as recycling and waste treatment plants in Israel and abroad. 9
The following activities take place in the Transfer Station: Interim Storage of hazardous waste Waste assortment Consolidation of waste for small costumers (5 Ton/year production) Washing and rinsing containers which used to contain hazardous substances The following materials can be accepted in the Transfer Station: Organic and inorganic acids Organic and inorganic alkalis Solvents Resins Activated Carbon Batteries except for Litium Oils Bulbs 10
