The Action Plan User Group (England) 5 th June 2006

Developing the Action Plan Issues & suggested solutions given in Report from February meeting were reviewed by WDF team. Specific actions, priority and realistic timing were identified for each solution. –High=quick win and/or large impact on success of system –Low=restricted impact and/or significant development cost

Proposals not currently accepted Statutory return for WCAs –Requires legislative change. For future LATS review. Auto upload of data –Limited feasibility & sig. dev cost. Review Sept. Bring deadline forward for WCAs –Unfair and impractical for WCAs Regional groupings for benchmarking reports –IT cost being assessed. Question management options –Risk that applicable question set changes over time. Monthly reporting –Sig cost; review as part of development of optimal reporting functionality

Actions completed Regional training sessions EA factsheets & info on audit circulated Validation summary sheet on-line Save prompt & data carry-over option Read-only external access to data Guidance (pdf) on WDF website WDA read-only to WCAs (9 th June) Q11 text change
