Line A Straight mark, with no end. Interior: This element is used to give the room something more than just solid colors. To give it a pattern. Fashion: Lines are used in this dress to add an element that really stands out on the dress. Graphic: Lines in this picture are used to make a shape, like a shirt, and a tie.

Shape Interior: In stained glass, shapes are carved out to make a picture. Lots of times these pictures make a story. Fashion: In this dress circles were used to make bubble for the dress. Graphic: Lines that meet to make shapes In this picture uses shapes to symbolize things.

Form 3D shape with width and height. Interior: This room uses form, by have dimensions that make the room seem 3D Design: This Dress uses form to create 3D bubbles Graphic: This Picture has dimensions in the camera that make it look 3D

Value Light to dark, change in color Interior: This uses value, by showing the same color going from darkest to light. Interior designers use these to find a color for a room Fashion: These dresses use value in the change of shades in the color, and the shadows used in the design. Graphic This shows different colors getting lighter, becoming a different shade of that color.

Texture Repetition of a certain feeling. Interior This chair has a very smooth texture, that is used throughout the entire chair. Fashion This dress stimulates a fluffy top, with a very clean cut bottom. Graphic This Graphic Design stimulates a rough, or course feeling or texture

Color Different features, that can be seen. Interior This sign has the color green in it because, when someone sees green in a store they will most likely think of plants, and that is the sign says. Fashion (look at green dress.) This dress has a design with vines in it. It uses the color green to stimulate the thought of a forest with vines. Graphic When someone sees yellow the might think caution or slow down, so the color in this picture will easily catch someone's attention.

Space Illusion of an object having depth. Interior This object creates the illusion that it has depth, when it really doesn’t. Fashion These dresses create the 3D illusion. Graphic This picture uses space to give the illusion that the bubbles are floating from one hand to the other.

My Preference in Design Fashion I really like the use of texture in this dress, from soft and silky to rough. I also really like the color, because it reminds me of Cinderella. Interior I really like the use in texture. It all looks very smooth and clean cut. I also love the contrast in texture between the walls and the rest of the room, because the wall is not so clean cut, because of the design. Graphic I really like the connections, the color allows in this design. When you think of Yellow, you think of light (the sun) And light makes you think of light bulbs which leads to the thought of ideas.
