How much does it cost? ECHO Platform For the first year, the maintenance fee will be waived for Blackwell customers ongoing maintenance fee = USD $1,500 ECHO Titles Single User titles will be sold at the list price, as set by the publisher Multiple User titles = list * 1.5
Ownership, perpetual access and archiving solution If the library chooses to cancel the agreement, or some other circumstance prevents Blackwell from providing access to the Library Channel Site, the license agreement provides a mechanism for Blackwell to transfer the ebook files (.pdf format) to the library for local hosting The agreement also commits Blackwell to guarantee that the library has a perpetual right to access content once it is purchased. The.pdf files of purchased titles will be provided to the library provided they meet the terms of the agreementthose terms require that certain security measures (e.g. DRM) are in place to protect our publishers content from abuse.
