PAPER MACHE’

In French… means “Chewed Paper” A type of art sculpture that is made from torn paper and paste. PAPER MACHE’

T he glue or paste that is used to stick the paper strips together. ADHESIVE

A thick white acrylic paint that acts as a base layer before using colored paints. GESSO

The structure to which the Paper Mache’ is applied. Including things like balloons, Cardboard, Wire and formed paper. SUPPORT STRUCTURE

A method for creating a Paper Mache’ sculpture that involves layers of paper. The way you lay the strips of paper in Paper Mache’ includes vertical and horizontal layers of paper. LAYERING
