The AFD-02, part of FIRE END range of fire doors, is a slim line steel glazing system for applications where aesthetics are as important as function. Uses Main entrances to:  Hotels  Offices  Restaurants  Apartments Finishes and colors The main profiles may be constructed from mirror Polished or satin stainless steel, brass, bronze, or polyester powder coated steel to any BS or RAL colour. Closers and handles are available in complementary materials and finishes. Glazing is available in standard single or double glazed units, which may be toughened, laminated or fire resistant, clear, obscure, coloured or textured. Technical details Typical profile sizes 50mm x 50mm and 50mm x 70mm. Profile gauge in 1.5, 1.8 or 2.0mm steel. Weather seals to frame and door profiles.Removable steel glazing beads for easy glass replacement. Adjustable surface mounted hinges are available for single action doors, or floor springs and pivots for double action doors. Closers may be surface mounted or concealed. The AFD-02 is fire rated for up to 2 hours depending on configuration and size. AFD-02 Highly developed closers employ advanced features such as controlled closing speeds, hold- open, back-check and delayed closing, which help with security, environmental control and easy passage of people.
