“Reaffirming and strengthening America’s role as the world’s engine of scientific discovery and technological innovation is essential to meeting the challenges of this century,” “That’s why I am committed to making the improvement of STEM education over the next decade a national priority.” –President Barack Obama

"Innovation and Excellence" The mission of Academy of Science and Engineering is to bring a rigorous and challenging education of the highest caliber to a community that has been historically under served.

At the Academy of Science and Engineering, we implement the STEM Academy - STEM 101 Curriculum that is based national standards. Students think, write, talk, and design like Engineers.

All ASE students must take and successfully pass Introduction to Engineering, 3-D Modeling, and Principles of Engineering. These courses feature fun and interesting STEM- based learning activities that challenge students to develop critical thinking and problem solving skills. “The science of today is the technology of tomorrow.” - Edward Teller

A study of Science and Engineering will equip students with the knowledge, skills, and means to succeed in today’s challenging world. Engineers are responsible for the most significant human technological advances of the 20th century, including computers, cell phones, video games, iPads, DVDs, the internet, solar energy, space exploration, and medical imaging. Graduates of ASE will be in high demand for high paying jobs and/or study at some of the top-ranked colleges and universities in the country and abroad. “Science is not only a disciple of reason but, also, one of romance and passion.” -Stephen Hawking
