Anti Bullying Week 2012 R U Alright?

We’re better without bullying Why would life be better without bullying? People would live their life without the fear of being targeted because they are ‘different’. Everyone would have an equal chance to achieve their very best. Society would be a better place knowing that people would not be ridiculed and harrassed.

R U Alright?

Sam before being bullied Sam after being bullied Popular with friends. Keen sportsman playing for local teams. Doing well at school, trying his best. Happy, out-going young person Isolated by friends. Loses interest in sport, starts eating unhealthy School work begins to drop off, plays truant. Becomes withdrawn and unhappy.

Natasha MacBryde Year 10 student who was a keen sportswoman and described by her teachers as a ‘model pupil’ was targeted by bullies. In February 2012 she took her own life.

We are ALL better off without bullying LOOK out for your friends. If you think they are being bullied, then help them. ASK for help, if you are the victim of bullying, whether it is offline or online. TAKE ACTION if you see online bullying taking place. REPORT any bullying that you see through the usual channels in school.
