3. 問題解決

About Problem-solving You need to develop the problem- solving ability so that when you invent something, you won’t give up easily when you are faced with difficult problems. Now, reorder the steps of problem- solving in the next page.

4. 日誌記錄

More tips about invention Long before Alexander Graham Bell filed a patent application in 1875, Daniel Drawbaugh said that he had invented the telephone. But since he had no journal or record, the Supreme Court rejected his claims. From this story, what lesson have you learned?

You are right!! You should keep an Inventor’s Journal to prove that you are the first person that invents a new product.

Rules for Journal Keeping Make notes about things you do and learn while working on your invention. Record your ideas and how you got it. Write about problems you have and how you solve them. Write in ink and do not erase. Add drawings to make things clear. List all parts, sources, and costs of materials. Sign and date all records at the time they are made and have them witness.
