Leadership as skills and Attitudes The example of George Marshall His sense of duty was never deterred by the prevailing political wind He spotted bright subordinates and delegated to them huge responsibilities George Marshall had no use for Yes Men. He encouraged criticisms and disagreements. His motto was “There is no end to what can be accomplished if you credit others.”

Value Leadership (Safty et al, 2003) Value Leadership is more than management, administration, rule, or commandment. “It is the vision-driven activities of people (leaders and followers) who strive for higher achievements in whatever field, and add value to human development.
