State public report on school district performance The State must annually report to the public on the performance of each local educational agency (LEA) in the State on the targets in the State Performance Plan.

The State must use the targets established in the SPP and priority areas to analyze the performance of each LEA in the State.

Enforcement Based on information in the State Performance Plan, monitoring visits and any other public information made available, the State shall determine if the school district: Needs assistance Needs intervention Needs substantial intervention

Early Intervening Services Services to nondisabled students who need additional academic and behavioral support to succeed in a general education environment – include: Scientifically-based academic instruction and behavioral interventions Staff development Educational and behavioral evaluations Services and supports, including scientifically based literacy instruction

Learning Disabilities Process that determines if the student responds to scientific, research-based intervention as part of the evaluation procedures.
