you don’t have to fear death!

I Corinthians 15:16-19 For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised either. And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins. Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ are lost. If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are to be pitied more than all men.

I Corinthians 15:20-23 But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. But each in his own turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him.

Because Lord Jesus came forth from that tomb alive - you can be resurrected too!

For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. But each in his own turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him. - v22-23

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.

III. How Do You Know That You Will Have Eternal Life After Death? B. What are the promises? You can live with God forever You can live with God forever! It’s the empty tomb & the resurrected Lord that gives that promise credibility! You can live forever!
