Global warming will lead to adverse impacts on sustainable development The GHG concentrations have to be stabilized to a level that would not threaten the survival of mankind The economic development in developing countries will continue and hence will increase the emissions of GHGs.

Malaysians Initiatives A GEF funded project aims to reduce such barriers and will contribute to the rational use and improved energy efficiency in Malaysian industries. In particular, capacity-building demonstration incentive schemes will be established to address inadequate information and perceived risk among industrial producers.
