WEBSEARCH CHECK OUT COLLEGE

COLLEGE SEARCH Look up a college that you’re interested in going to. If you are not sure about what college you want to go to, check out some in the area or some in Wisconsin (Go UW-Eau Claire!), North Dakota, Iowa, anywhere…. Look through the college’s website and answer the questions found on the next slide. I do not care where you answer these questions…paper or on an app of your choosing.

YOUR COLLEGE—BASIC INFORMATION 1.What is the name of the college you are looking at? 2.What city is your college located in? 3.How many miles from your house is your college? 4.Does your college have a mascot? If so, what is it? 5.How much is tuition per semester? How much will it cost you a year?

YOUR COLLEGE—MORE SPECIFIC 1.What kind of activities can you get involved in at your college? (Check out under Campus/Student Life) 2.Does your college have dorms? If so, check them out. Give the names of two of the dorms at your college. 3.Read an article about something new that is happening on your college’s campus. 4.Check out the “Colleges and Schools” section of your college. Look around at the different areas your school specializes in. Pick one that sounds interesting to you.
