METHODOLOGIES:  Espionage [KGB vs. CIA]  Arms Race [nuclear escalation] & Space race  Ideological Competition for the minds and hearts of Third World/non-aligned peoples [Communist govt. & command economy vs. democratic govt. & capitalist economy]  “proxy wars”  Propaganda wars
