As well as completing these tasks every night, you must also complete all the tasks in the next homework grid. Check them off as you go. The first person to finish all the tasks will receive TWO points on their rewards chart. All the tasks must be done in your homework book unless stated other wise. When you go shopping, imagine you have $50 to spend at the supermarket. How many items can you buy and what is the least amount of change left over? Teach an adult something you have learnt at school. Invent a ball game, explain the rules to someone and play it with them. Choose your favourite paper back book from the reading list. Make a PowerPoint presentation about your favourite character. (5 slides only) Play with your favourite toy. Write a short list about why you love your toy. You can cut out pictures of your toy or draw it as well. Cleaning boot camp! Have your parents time you to see how long it takes you to clean your room from top to bottom!. Ask an adult to help you find a fun website about health. Post this website onto your Wiki Page. What is your favourite thing about this website? Pick your favourite song and make a dance for it. You can do this with an adult or a friend if you want. Take some pictures and make a collage. Make a healthy picture recipe! Using magazines, newspapers or catalogues, cut out “ingredients” and stick them in your book. Come up with a name for your delicious dish. Find a nice patch of comfortable grass, lay down and close your eyes for as long as you want. Relax and try to remember all the sounds you hear. Write them down when your finished. Pick another book from the reading list. Read it out loud to an adult. Write a letter to someone who you know that smokes telling them why it is bad and why you want them to stop. Build your won classroom. Using a box, make your dream classroom out of anything you like. Investigate! I will assign you a person from our class who you have to make a profile poster about. These will be hung around the room. Go for a walk around you neighbourhood with an adult. Discuss the different safe places you can go to if you are in trouble. Practice your multiplication and division with your parents. You can turn it into a game to see who gets the most right. Stick yourself against the wall and see how long it takes for you to do a lap around the house. Write up a healthy menu for dinner and help your parents cook it. Set the table for your ‘guests’ and welcome them to your restaurant. Make your own spelling list for PDHPE. Choose 20 words. You will be testing each other in class at the end of the week. Ask your parents to help you make a family tree. Include names, dates and places if you can.
