THE KINGDOM KEYS-SUPERNATURAL

INTRODUCTION IT IS WRITTEN, MAN SHALL NOT LIVE BY BREAD ALONE, BUT BY EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDETH OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD. MATH 4:4 & LUKE 4:4

THE TWO SIDES OF THE SAME COIN THE FULL UNDERSTANDING IN THE WORD NEEDS TO BE GOT TO KNOW WHAT GOD WANTS TO REVEAL. WOE TO YOU, TEACHERS OF THE LAW AND PHARISEES, YOU HYPOCRITES! YOU GAVE A TENTH OF YOUR SPICES, MINT, DILL, CUMMIN. BUT YOU HAVE NEGLECTED THE MORE IMPORTANT MATTERS OF THE LAW-JUSTICE, MERCY AND FAITHFULNESS. YOU SHOULD HAVE PRACTICED THE LATTER WITHOUT NEGLECTING THE FORMER (MATH 23:23)

1. IT ESTABLISHES EQUALITY ……When Jesus was having dinner at Levi’s house many tax collectors and sinners were eating with him and his disciples, ……. When the Pharisees and teachers of the law saw him eating with sinners and tax collectors … why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners (Mark 2:13-17) SUPERNATURAL IN THE CITY BY OPEN TABLES/HOMES

2. THE BROKENNESS IS LEFT BEHIND ……….. The people eat and were satisfied. After wards the disciples picked up seven baskets of broken pieces that were left over (Mark 8:8) NEED FOR FELLOWSHIP IN THE GOSPEL WHICH IS OPEN TABLES

3. THE EARLY CHURCH GREW IN STRENGTH ON THIS MODEL Everyday the continued to meet together in temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts praising God and enjoying the favour of all people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved (Acts 2:46-47) NEED FOR FELLOWSHIP IN THE GOSPEL WHICH IS OPEN TABLES

4. HEAVEN REJOICES BY FEASTING Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous...(Luke 15:7) …but the father said to his servants, Quick bring the best robe, and put it on him …. Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Lets have a feast and celebrate (Luke 15:23) NEED FOR FELLOWSHIP IN THE GOSPEL WHICH IS OPEN TABLES

5. THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS LIKE A WEDDING BANQUET The kingdom of heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son. He sent his servants to those who have been invited to the banquet to tell them to come, but they refused to come… For many are invited but few are chosen (Math 22) NEED FOR FELLOWSHIP IN THE GOSPEL WHICH IS OPEN TABLES

6. Commanded by God in His word Let us not give up the meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another- and all the more as you see the Day approaching (Heb 10:24) NEED FOR FELLOWSHIP IN THE GOSPEL WHICH IS OPEN TABLES

7. THE WELCOMING JESUS INCLUDES A MEAL Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me (Rev 3:20) After the resurrection Jesus was on the beach with breakfast NEED FOR FELLOWSHIP IN THE GOSPEL WHICH IS OPEN TABLES

CAUTION / DANGERS 1.AVOID GLUTTONY (Prov 25:16,23:21, Deu 21:20) 2.BE SENSITIVE (1COR 11:21) 3.DON’T WASTE THE FOOD (1Cor) 4.HAVE IT WITH A THANKFUL HEART (1Chro 29:12-14) 5. ENJOY DISCUSSING/ SHARING GOD AND HIS WORD (Luke 24:30-32)
