YOU GAVE A TENTH OF YOUR SPICES, MINT, DILL, CUMMIN. BUT YOU HAVE NEGLECTED THE MORE IMPORTANT MATTERS OF THE LAW-JUSTICE, MERCY AND FAITHFULNESS. YOU SHOULD HAVE PRACTICED THE LATTER WITHOUT NEGLECTING THE FORMER (MATH 23:23)

1. IT ESTABLISHES EQUALITY ……When Jesus was having dinner at Levi’s house many tax collectors and sinners were eating with him and his disciples, ……. When the Pharisees and teachers of the law saw him eating with sinners and tax collectors … why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners (Mark 2:13-17) SUPERNATURAL IN THE CITY BY OPEN TABLES/HOMES

3. THE EARLY CHURCH GREW IN STRENGTH ON THIS MODEL Everyday the continued to meet together in temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts praising God and enjoying the favour of all people. HEAVEN REJOICES BY FEASTING Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous...(Luke 15:7) …but the father said to his servants, Quick bring the best robe, and put it on him …. 5. THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS LIKE A WEDDING BANQUET The kingdom of heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son.
