The kingdom of heaven is like…

a seed growing in the ground

This is what the kingdom of God is like  26 He also said, "This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man scatters seed on the ground. 27 Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how. 28 All by itself the soil produces grain—first the stalk, then the head, then the full kernel in the head. 29 As soon as the grain is ripe, he puts the sickle to it, because the harvest has come."(Mk. 4:26-29).

 The seed of the Kingdom of God has in itself all the elements to sprout out and grow and produce a harvest to be reaped.  The good soil has also all the conditions to produce the grain.  No matter what happens, the combination of the seed’s elements and the soil’s conditions will make the seed to grow and produce a harvest.

The key verse: 29 As soon as the grain is ripe, he puts the sickle to it, because the harvest has come.  There will be a harvest time  The time and condition: when the grain is ripe  The Lord will come to harvest the field

 The seed of the K.O.G. is growing in the ground in 3 stages:  first the stalk  then the head  then the full kernel in the head.  The season we live now is between the sprouting of the head and the full kernel in the head: this is the mystery of the Kingdom.  But one thing is for sure: this growth is in progress and at the right time the full K.O.G. will be revealed. Nothing can stop its growth.

 first the stalk  then the head  then the full kernel in the head.  The stalk: Jesus died, as any seed has to die before it can produce fruits.  Then the head: then the world saw His head out, and He sprouted as the first fruits of the kingdom of God in humanity, when He was risen from the dead.  Then the full kernel in the head: this is the harvest of the church “in the head”, which means the full harvest of the growth of the K.O.G.

Then they sat down and collected the good fish in baskets, but threw the bad away. 49 This is how it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous 50 and throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (Matthew 13: 47-50)
