Some “have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a time. Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the word's sake, immediately they stumble.” No Spiritual growth

For some “the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word” Worldliness overcomes them

Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall. 1 Corinthians 10:12

Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but fear. For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either. Romans 11:20-21

You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace. Galatians 5:4

This means YOU! NO ONE is above falling away If you cannot concede this, you are falling now

Attendance habits Attitude towards brethren Attitude towards worship Worldly interests

Do we know how to self-examine? Am I more or less of a Christian right now? Do I sacrifice worldly things to Christ? Do I sacrifice Spiritual things to the world? Do I neglect my salvation?

Do I know how precious my faith is? that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, 1 Peter 1:7
