By TREVOR DILL Who am I?

I’m an Indian.

I was born on March 3, 1840 in Wallowa Valley, Oregon.

I was 14 ¾ when my dad died.

I was chief when I was 15 years old.

I was an Indian Chief for many years. I was an Indian Chief for many years.

My Indian name means “thunder rolling down the mountain.”

I was in many battles.

My kids did not see me for a long time.

I said no more fighting. I am getting tired. I will give you our land.

I died September 21, 1904 at Colville Indian Reservation in Washington.

I was 64 when I died.
