How to Make Referrals  4 Methods, based on the magnitude of issue: 1. Propose that the student go to the center or make an appointment 2. Encourage student to call center while you are there 3. Call center yourself for the student 4. Call center and inform them that a student needs to be seen immediately, and then walk over with the advisee

It is always better to refer unnecessarily than to leave someone when they need professional help Just Remember
