Wednesday, September 8, 2010 ______________________________________ “The only difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little…. extra."

"Our greatest glory is not in never falling but in rising every time we fall."

Have you ever felt this way before where you were “lost” in some way? In your personal reflection, first explain what this picture means to you, then write out some steps you can take to ensure that you prevent getting “lost.” You can do this by relating one of these ideas to a personal example.

"Take care of your reputation, it's your most valuable asset."

What do you hope to accomplish in the next four years, and where do you hope to go? Why is it important to see life as an adventure?

"No one can predict to what heights you can soar. Even you will not know until you spread your wings."

1. What are the benefits of learning to work as a team? 2. Why is it also important to be an individual?

"The shoe that fits one person pinches another; There is no recipe for living that suits all cases" - Carl Jung

"What others say of me matters little; What I myself say and do matters much."

"The only place you will find success before work is in the dictionary."

Have you ever heard someone say that it is not the product, or the answer, as much as it is the journey? Meaning that learning is not ALL about finding the answers, but learning along the way? 1. What do you think this means? 2. Relate this to your own life.

"Learn to take charge of your life and hold on. You are the driver everyday."

Do you ever feel like this? Files and thoughts everywhere in your mind with no real labelling system? In your personal reflection, be sure to state what steps we need to take to organize our thoughts and our learning? Hints: dividers…focusing…

"Look twice before you leap."

"No one ever excused his way to success."

What is the BEST learning environment for you? In your personal experience reflection, make a T-Chart where you will list the traits of a GOOD learning environment on one side and those of a BAD learning environment on the other.

"I can't change the direction of the wind but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination."
