 Dr. Sharyl Cross first US-Russia students VTC seminars during her work at MGIMO- University  IPSA Research Committee on Geopolitics  International Conference on Geopolitics in Moscow, MGIMO, 2010

 Joint sessions with students in Moscow and Austin on March 18 th and April 18 th, 2014 to discuss the situation in Crimea, and also issues regarding the role of religion in United States and Russian Foreign Policy.

 On October 28-29, 2014, the Kozmetsky Center of Excellence at St. Edward’s University convened a forum of eight international academic and policy leaders to discuss the ongoing conflict in Ukraine and identify potential opportunities for cooperation and de-escalation of the conflict.  Kozmetsky Center organized a video seminar with students at MGIMO-University and Friedrich-Schiller University in Jena, Germany. Several students of Kiev-Mohyla Academy also participated in the exchange from the site at Friedrich-Schiller University. Twelve St. Edward’s University students contributed to the roundtable discussion with students abroad sharing views on the Ukranian conflict from each country.
