 Religions of the World PowerPoint  Assignment is worth 100 points.  Due on Tuesday, January 14, 2014

 Step 1: Research the Religion you have prearranged with the teacher. (Use the content slides to guide you in your research).  Step 2: Create a PowerPoint or Prezi presentation in Spanish.  Step 3: Presentation must include material from the content section.  Step 4: Use appropriate font and a minimum of 20 slides per presentation.  Step 5: Include Photos  Step 6: Put the presentation in Mrs. Bayna’s drop box when completed.  Do not use delay transitions in or between between slides.

HISTORY/BACKGROUND  What is the name of the religion?  How many people of this faith are there in the world?  What country did this faith originate in?  What is the name of the place of worship?  History – where did it start?  Are there important places or events? CULTURE  What do the people of this faith believe?  Are there any particular rules?  Are there any special days or traditions?  Particular food associated with the culture of the faith?  What are the expectations of men, women, and children?  Is there a typical form of education for worshipers?

FOOD  Any particular food consumed during religious ceremonies?  Any particular days were a certain food is eaten or made? CLOTHING  Any specific attire that men, women, or children wear?  Special ceremonies that require special clothing?  A specific clothing piece or color they are not allowed to wear?

SYMBOLS/BOOKS  Are there any symbols?  What do the religious structures look like?  Is there any specific type of jewelry?  Any books that are used in this faith?  Any particular writings that are important in the faith? STRUCTURE  What is the structure of the important people in the religion?  What titles do they use?  How do worshipers address them?
