Aural Verbal (linguistic): You prefer using words, both in speech and writing. Verbal Physical (kinesthetic): You prefer using your body, hands and sense of touch. Pastoral care team “ I use parental involvement. I will ring parents and arrange for them to come in, so that we can work in partnership in order to keep their child engaged. We use small achievable targets, which have been negotiated by myself, the parent and the child.”

How we engage with difficult to reach pupils. If a child feels detached from learning in school for any reason. We also provide a class bubble box, which gives the child a confidential forum for him/her to discuss why they may be feeling unengaged.

Reception

School Council Finally I thought it was important to mention our school council. “We really enjoy our new topics and how we work with other children in other classes. We like to get into the wow zone as we like to achieve our stickers and we love the idea of being able to get our Hinguar Star!”
