Women in Wireless Mission To empower and develop female leaders in mobile and digital media. We do this through leadership development, mentoring, inspirational series of panels and webinars, job boards, philanthropic support for relevant charities and networking events.

Goals  THE leading community of female influencers and decision makers in the mobile industry  THE organization that trains and develops both current and future mobile industry leaders  THE place to learn about what is going on within the mobile industry  THE must join group for women in mobile and digital media

Main Accomplishment for 2011  Incorporated the company and grew to +3,000 members (from 700)  Website, News Letter and Twitter launch - 1,062 followers and one active voice  Developed speaker database and placed industry leaders on panels at multiple conferences, CTIA, DPAC, Digiday Social, etc  Successfully launched the NYC Mentoring Pilot which got extended into a 12 month program  Launched the Women Innovate Mobile (WIM) Accelerator with Kelly Hoey and Deborah Jackson  Successful networking events at all key industry industry events such as Adtech, CTIA, MMA, etc with +100 attendees as each event  First International event, six-city Women in Wireless Event: London, SF, NYC, Calgary, Toronto, Edmonton  Successfully launched the WiW Educational series in NY covering Negotiation and Presentation  Year-long support of Grameen’s Recycle to Eradicate Poverty Program.
