Their children are educated and going for vocational training. Financing loan for business providing by other agencies.
Challenges ALL Persons Affected by Leprosy (PAL) need to adopt Self care practices and be able for preventing secondary infection. Minimize begging through by raising their income- vocational training, loan, education support etc. ALL PAL be enabled to avail all Government facilities. Improve supervision & monitoring in PAL homes by the facilitators.
Special Activities NLR President & Board mealmber of NLR visited Leprosy Colonies and distributed Aids and Appliances. 32 Cataract operations were done by Lions Club, Bokaro. 39 PAL are benefited by disabled certificates. 171 Mosquito nets distributed by DLO with the support of DMO in Bokaro. 13 females were benefited by Janni Surakcha Coupon & Family planning operation. 600 pcs.small Note book distributed to PAL children by the Society in Bokaro. 17 students ( 5 girls & 12 male) went to Champa for vocational training. 50 pcs. Blankets were distributed by PNB, Ranchi, in PAL Homes. Celebrate Anti Leprosy Day in Leprosy Colony in Ranchi in presence of Health Minister, Jharkhand. One deep borewel hand pump installed at Ashadan PAL Home by NLR-F. 140 Solar Laltern & 5 Street light installed at Ashadan PAL Home, Bokaro by NLR-F.
