A child needs time to get to know the teachers, makes new friends, feel at home with a large group, and understands classroom expectations. With the Teachers’ help your child will make a huge step towards independence.

Jolly Phonics Story Town First Friends

Jolly phonics Jolly phonics teaches the letter sound in an enjoyable way to let the children read and write words. The letter sounds are divided into 7 sets as you see here:

How to teach jolly phonics ? 1- Start with the story. 2- Recognize and practice the action of the sound, which is at the end of the story page. 3- Introduce and sing the song. 4- Recognize the letter formation, and finally the vocabulary of the letter sound.

Phonemic awareness. High frequency words. Comprehension. Robust vocabulary.

Numbers and numeration Addition and subtraction. Measurement, estimation, and graph. Patterns and partners.

One class for “art language”. One class for” phonics”. One class for “writing”. One class for “math”.

Two double lined copybooks for phonics/digraph.(40 sheets, green cover) One double lined copybook for art language.(28 sheets, green cover). One double lined copybook for spelling,(28 sheets, green cover). Two big square copybooks for math(40 sheets, blue cover).

The child will have homework to do daily. It will range from letter sound at the beginning of the year to reading assignments. Help your child to develop good study habits early by having special time and place for him/her to do the H.W.
