One of four committees that advise the Centre and help to shape its work and activities. CAN includes adults and youth who have experienced the child and youth mental health system as consumers, parents, caregivers and/or advocates. Youth contribute in valuable ways to discussions and decision-making. Each young person brings unique experiences and personal expertise to the table.

The New Mentality In partnership with Childrens Mental Health Ontario. The New Mentality (TNM) supports youth, adults, and mental health agencies in coming together to form effective partnerships. TNM works to change the way youth and adults value one another, and to create opportunities for them to work together as partners. TNM is based on a growing body of evidence that youth engagement as a practice, works!
