The OnePage Solution Through the Bible without guilt, without the patience of Job, without getting lost in Leviticus, And without a single daily assignment F5 to begin…Click to continue…Esc to exit

Sound Impossible? Readers all over the country may disagree. But wait…there’s more!

Without a daily assignment… You will actually end up reading more And paying closer attention And enjoying the journey You see, unlike all the one-year plans out there…The OnePage Solution eliminates the need for military-like discipline, and… Even creates the desire to come back But there is some discipline required…

DISCIPLINE? Yes, it’s true. You will have to exercise a certain amount of discipline and self-control You will have to force yourself to STOP reading.

But wait, there’s more! “Force myself to STOP reading?” It’s true…but more on that later… Here are a few other benefits… –You will spend increased time in the NT –And you will continually be reading Psalms and Proverbs –And you will gain new insights to even familiar passages because the chapter divisions are ignored –And you can actually skip a day (or two) or read more if you have time –And you will actually finish…but don’t quit…

What do you mean…don’t quit? Well, in over twenty years I never have. You see, this is not a one-year plan It’s not like anything you’ve ever experienced Think about it…if there were no daily assignment, no quota, no guilt, just enjoyment of God’s eternal engrafted Word, and if missing a day or two did not matter…then why quit…ever? The OnePage Solution…it’s not a race …it’s for life! …in more ways than one

Here’s what Proverbs 4:20-22 has to say …attend to My words; incline thine ear unto My sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. You think that’s good, wait till you see what Jesus had to say on the subject…

Jesus’ words recorded in John 15:7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it will be done* How would that affect your prayer life? * In another place He adds that pesky condition about it being the will of God…but with this much Word in you, you will begin to understand exactly what the will of God is…

OK, how does this work and why would I have to force myself to STOP reading? The name is the first clue The OnePage Solution You’re only allowed to read one page* Well, actually one page per section And there are eight sections “Now wait, that sounds like a lot of reading!” That would be true if the assignment were to read all eight sections each day** But there is no minimum daily requirement. Only a MAXIMUM! *Ok, no one’s watching. But if you give this idea a chance for 30 days you will be amazed at how well it works. **For those of you ‘Type A’ over-achievers this pace would take you through the Bible in about eight months (including twice through the New Testament)! For the rest of us the average is between 10 and 22 months.

MAXIMUM? That’s right, the maximum is one page. The Reference Guide will show you exactly which section and page is next When you have time, read that page Then flip the Guide and pull up the next one “But what if the passage or story is interesting? Can’t I just keep reading?” No. Two things will happen if you force yourself to stop at the end of the page. 1. You will find built-in motivation to come back, and… 2. You will have exercised discipline like never before. But wait, there’s more!

The chronologies and other less-than-interesting sections are also only one page. That’s right. Some parts of the Bible are, well…frightfully boring…* So here’s another reason to keep coming back…you know that any section that is currently a little tedious…is also only one page! *Bruce Wilkerson, however discovered a short prayer hidden in one of those boring sections and built an entire ministry around it. Just a few power-packed words from a guy named Jabez changed everything.

Here’s the key to it all…

Step 1…Set up the eight Reference Guides in your Bible

Then, open to the one Guide that shows above the page (in this case, #1). …and read that page…then stop!

…flip* that Guide and open to the next section… *top to bottom …and read that page.

When you’ve read that page… STOP again!…then flip that Guide and go to the next section… If you’re done for now then pull up that Guide and close your Bible

When you have time, open to that Guide and read that page …repeat as necessary. That’s it! You’re now a ‘T.O.P.S.’ reader! The OnePage Solution

This is the way your Bible should look from now on… One Guide showing with the other seven hidden.

Then something wonderful happens Your Bible will become a friend…not a cause of guilt and intimidation It’s always there…always waiting (never chiding, never nagging)…and always ready to give up one page of wisdom, insight, inspiration, direction and counsel And maybe an occasional admonition And you always know where to look for what God just might want to say to you that very day.

And the end result? You really will find yourself reading more But more importantly you will find yourself enjoying it more God’s Word was meant to give life and light and revelation…not condemnation and guilt Enjoy the journey! …it’s for life!
